Students of the "Master in Business Innovation and Concept Creation" face the complex process of identifying immediate stakeholder needs, linking them to business opportunities and creating new concepts that form the basis for long-term growth.
More than learning how to identify opportunities
No matter what business your company operates in, positive interactions and meaningful engagement with all stakeholders are important in order to remain relevant to your markets and communities. At 180º Academy managers experience new ways of how to capture the changing needs of stakeholders and transform this knowledge into new business opportunities for a broader market with a long-term perspective.
Throughout the programme, the cross-disciplinary class of students go through eight Modules where the theory of concept making and user involvement is converted into real-life training. The faculty is an international team of experienced practitioners. Our students receive a different understanding of concept making as well as a new vocabulary and practical tools to help them implement new learning in their organisation. Through this practical approach, the students have the opportunity to try out new learning in between each module. Vocabulary and tools are tested in everyday life in their organisations and followed up with evaluation and feedback from faculty and fellow students when back at school.
A positive change for the whole organisation
The ongoing process of trying out new learning in everyday life means that the students get to look at their organisations from a different perspective. Processes, structures and culture are evaluated in order to create ideal conditions for new and better ideas and processes in their organisations. This is why the "Master in Business Innovation and Concept Creation" criterion for success is that the whole organisation is trained and not only the individual student.
How to implement learning in the organisation
Throughout the programme the students work on two live projects linking the 180º learning with everyday life and challenges in the organisation, thereby creating the right conditions for fully implementing new vocabulary and tools:
